Breastfeeding Basics Prenatal Class
Step into your breastfeeding journey with confidence! This comprehensive 3 hour, Lactation Consultant-led breastfeeding class will break down all the breastfeeding basics, possible difficulties and how to avoid them. You will learn how to latch baby, how to know your baby is getting enough, how to safely build a freezer stash and everything in between!
We keep class sizes small to encourage discussion and hands-on practice. A waitlist is available if registration is full, and additional classes will open up based on interest.

In-Clinic Lactation Consultation
During your 1 hour appointment a thorough health history for both Mom and baby will be discussed. A breast assessment, baby assessment and a nursing session will be completed. Assistance to correct latch and resolving issues will be done during and after the nursing session. A plan of care will be completed and when required, handouts will be provided to the client for reference. A courtesy follow-up phone call is included to ensure concerns have been resolved or are resolving.

Home Visit Lactation Consultation
Home visits range between 1-1.5 hours in the comfort of the client's home. During the appointment a thorough health history for both Mom and baby will be discussed. A breast assessment, baby assessment and a nursing session will be completed. Assistance to correct latch and resolving issues will be done. A plan of care will be completed and when required, handouts will be provided to the client for reference.
A courtesy follow-up phone call is included to ensure concerns have been resolved or are resolving.

Virtual Lactation Consultation
During this 1 hour appointment a thorough health history for both Mom and baby will be discussed. You will be walked through how to conduct a baby suck assessment and a nursing session will be completed. Assistance to correct latch and resolving issues will be done during and after the nursing session. A plan of care will be completed and when required, handouts will be provided to the client for reference.
A courtesy follow-up phone call is included to ensure concerns have been resolved or are resolving. Booking by request - email or phone.

The Leaps Package is thoughtfully designed to support you from preparation through the critical first month postpartum. This comprehensive service ensures you feel confident, supported, and well-equipped as you begin your breastfeeding journey.
